    great accessibility

charming stay with easy access to harpers ferry sights

I loved how close the place was to Harpers Ferry Historic Town, just under a 10-minute walk away, and my mornings were made even better by the delicious breakfast prepared by Annie, who was not only a fantastic host but created a wonderful communal atmosphere over meals, making my stay feel even more special.

    poor maintenance

nice view, ample closet space, unique historical architecture

The bathroom setup felt cramped, making it a struggle for anyone larger to manage!!! The hot water lasted only 30 seconds, resulting in chilly showers!!! Maintenance is overdue. the porch area is caving in.

    gourmet breakfast

    charming patio
    uncomfortable bed
    noisy environment

Annie served up an outstanding breakfast with crispy bacon and made sure us vegans were well-fed, too! The charming outdoor patio felt like a dreamland, perfect for sipping coffee and soaking in those sweeping mountain views—truly a slice of paradise!

The bed in room 3 could use a little love, and the bathroom had a few spider webs and stray hairs. Plus, there's a LOUD TRAIN that swoops through at night, so light sleepers beware!

    great hospitality
    delicious breakfast
    outdated decor
    uncomfortable mattress
    parking hassle

Annie's hospitality made for a memorable experience, with delicious breakfasts featuring local cheese and thoughtful touches like granola bars for my hike. The location allows for easy walking access to attractions without the hassle of parking. However, the room decor felt a bit outdated, and the mattress could have been more comfortable, impacting a good night's sleep.

The view from my suite was breathtaking, and Annie’s breakfast was truly exceptional. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to unwind, although the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy at times. Overall, a memorable experience with wonderful hospitality.

    maintenance needed

We had an amazing stay at Ledge House Bed & Breakfast! Our suite featured a private balcony with stunning views of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers. The comfy bed was perfect for restful nights, and the sitting area was a cozy spot for relaxing. Annie, our innkeeper, prepared delicious breakfasts that really set the tone for our day.

The bathroom could use some updating.

    historic architecture
    cozy sitting
    picturesque views
    poor maintenance
    noisy environment

Unique historical architecture adds charm, with a cozy sitting area perfect for unwinding. Private balconies in some suites offer picturesque views, letting you soak in the scenery during quiet moments.

The premises are in serious need of maintenance. peeling paint and loose floorboards mar the aesthetic. The bathroom setup feels cramped, with inadequate space between the vanity and toilet, creating a less than ideal experience. Don't expect peace at night, as the nearby train tracks frequently interrupt with loud horns. The overgrown gardens and dirty exterior seating diminish the first impression significantly.
